Today, I spent much of the day working on the movement of records in ArchivesSpace. I was able to identify some redundant names in the vocabulary to be able to help codify some of the naming conventions. (3 hours).

Later in the afternoon, Dave, Karl (a digital librarian involved in the digital repository) and I met with Fr. Greg Carlson about his Carlson Fable Collection to introduce the idea of recording some interviews with him in order to gain more information and hopefully some soundbites regarding the significance, provenance, etc. of selected items in the collection. We also discussed the Creighton Digital Repository (CDR), the acquisition of a new book scanner that has not yet arrived, and the impact the new scanner would have on the process of digitizing the Carlson Fable Collection.
