I finished combining all the SJC exhibit labels into pages in Photoshop for printing (1 hour) and worked on drafting the exhibit introduction text that would give visitors a sense of what the exhibit is, why we selected these objects, and to start them on the narrative we were trying to create (1 hour).
Since most of the campus was still on winter break, Dave, Olivia and I met to revisit the list of all of the projects the department currently has going, in part to be able to prepare for the end of my internship (1 hour). We then drove over to the annex building which houses much of the archival collections to analyze the works in progress there, particularly those of which were in a certain area. The annex is going to be receiving some new storage furniture and work tables, so Dave wanted to make sure the works in progress could be noted and understood so they would not be lost in the shuffle that would arise when the new furniture arrived (1 hour).
Finally, I took some time to study the Ron Hansen papers and their current organization structure, which was based loosely on Indiana's organization of their Kurt Vonnegut papers. Taking what I could understand from what had been done so far to organize the papers and what goals a complete organization and numbering system would accomplish, I worked more on creating the numbering system that would fulfill all of Creighton’s needs so that the items could be accessioned (2 hours).
