I continued working on the development of the numbering system for the Ron Hansen papers, both individually and later with Dave. We talked about weighing how to handle a collection that will continue to grow that may currently have gaps we don’t know about such as works and letters that may yet be incoming, the importance of an easy-to-understand system for future undergrad workers that will be the ones carrying out the accessioning process, and the pros and cons of different approaches (3 hours).
We also went up to the ad hoc humidification chamber to continue with the process of unfolding the remaining relic authentics by placing the other three in the chamber. With the data from the day before, we made a plan to remove the other three from the chamber sooner, with a trial period of 3-4 hours rather than 2 days to test the effect of humidity (1 hour). I worked a bit more on setting up the AR environments in the Zappar website for the SJC exhibit (45 minutes), and then Dave and I checked on the relic authentics. We determined that they still needed a bit more time, so Dave said he would check on them again later that afternoon.
